Bookings will be open Wednesday 27th May

What to Expect

Catering for up to 8 participants per session, ages 7–12 years old, our DIY Makers Lab: Mini Skateboard Keyrings runs for 2 hours at our private indoor space, The Clubhouse, in Mordialloc.

Participants will design and create their own custom mini skateboard keyring using colourful clay, sculpting tools, and creative accessories in a fun, relaxed environment.

Starting with sketching and planning their designs, creators will learn basic sculpting and creative techniques while bringing their mini skateboard ideas to life step-by-step with support from our Curbside coaches.

With a small group environment and plenty of creative freedom, participants are encouraged to express themselves, try new things, and build confidence through hands-on creating.

Creations will be baked/set during the workshop, allowing everyone to take home their finished custom skateboard keyring on the day.

This workshop is completely beginner-friendly, with no experience needed, making it perfect for creative kids wanting to try something new in a supportive environment.

All materials and tools are included

Your Questions, Answered
  • Any creative human aged 7–12 who’s keen to get crafty, make cool stuff, and have some fun at The Clubhouse. No experience needed, just good vibes and imagination.

  • A super fun creative experience, new skills, and their very own uniquely made mini skateboard keychain to take home. There’s also a very high chance they’ll leave with a few random clay blobs or tiny creations they made along the way too.

  • Just themselves, their creativity, a water bottle, and a few snacks (nut free please!). Creating masterpieces is thirsty work.
